The biggest news of the week that we also highlighted last week was the upcoming shutdown. As previously stated in Q4 earnings, this was anticipated and planned to shut down in Q2 of 2024. We received an official announcement via Jose (RivianTrackr) that the shutdown is expected to run from April 5th to April 30th.

This week, consumer reports announced their “Car Brand Loyalty” results from 2024. Coming in as the highest rated car brand was none other than Rivian boasting 86% for consumers who would buy from the same brand again. The whole article can be read here.

Rivian is building a new station in Victor, New York. Rivian plans to have 7 additional chargers at this RAN location.

Another week, another set of states that Rivian is now eligible for lease. This week started off with adding Oregon and Tennessee to the quickly growing list. At this time, you can now lease a brand-new Rivian in 26 states!

This week, the Rivian R2 was in New York City. Some amazing pictures of the R2 were posted on Facebook groups and X.com. Some of my favorites were posted from James Bledsoe and Peter Barba.
